BIG Beautiiiful Lips!

A few weeks ago a made a tutorial showing you guys how to make my favorite DIY lip scrub... not only does that scrub prep your lips for any product you choose (gloss, lipstick, pencil, etc.) it also makes them look BIGGG!

Continuing on with the bigger is better theme when it comes to your lips.. today I put together a tutorial demonstrating how to accentuate your pretty pout and make it stand out!

Here's the steps!!
1. Using a white eye pencil (Jessie's Girl, Walmart, $1) draw a line following along your cupids bow.
2. Blend that in with a brush or your finger.
3. Apply a bright pink lipstick pencil (Sephora "Strawberry Delish" $14) focusing on the edges.
4. Apply a lighter pink color (NARS "Roman Holiday" $24) to the center of your top and bottom lips.
5. Finish off with a plumping gloss (Soap and Glory SexyMotherpucker in Peachy Pink, $10) for extra plumpness and to blend everything together!

What do you guys think? Do you like big, statement lips or do you think its too crazy?!

Festival Fashion

Hey yaaaaa'll!

"Festival Fashion" has been everywhere lately. With Coachella taking place last weekend and this upcoming weekend, what the stars are wearing to the music festival has been all over the entertainment news. Being a hippy at heart, I'm eating this stuff up. My friend Ryan and I just made a new tutorial with some of my favorite festival inspired looks.

DIY: Yogurt Anti-Acne Face Mask!

I've been eating SO much yogurt lately, seriously I'm on my third large container this week... but whose counting? So while I was searching the web looking for a do-it yourself face mask, while eating my plain Chobani mixed with strawberry jam (YUMMMM), I realized sooo many of them contained yogurt. I had no idea that yogurt was just as good for your skin, as it is for your health.

I could get into why all these products are supposed to be good for your skin but honestly it's kind of boring and you can easily find the info off of google so here are the basics-

Plain Yogurt- refines pores, exfoliates and stimulates collagen production
Aspirin- help rid your skin of acne! yayyyy!
Honey- very moisturizing & improves blood circulation

Birthday Swag.

Hey pretty ladies! :)

My birthday was the 9th and I just wanted to share with you some of the presents I got!

My mom got me a foundation I've been wanting for awhile now, the Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage by Tarte. This is my first day using it, and I have to say, I absolutley love it so far. It's a bit thicker than the other foundations I've been using by MAC and Clinique, it really is clay-like. It has stayed all day and looks beautiful on. It covers up any imperfections with a smaller amount of product than I'd normally use. Plus I noticed there's over 50% more product in this than with my other foundations which is awesome. Click here to check it out!

My mom also got me a few gift cards, including one to Sephora. I really can't hold on to those too long... I feel like I need to spend it right away haha. I ended up purchasing a few Betsey Johnson nails products including the Nail Polish Strips. In this picture I'm wearing the Skulls pattern on a couple nails and "It's My Pink" on my other nails. I'm gonna be honest with you guys, I love the skull design but wasn't crazy about the application for the strips. They look super cute now that they are sticking just fine but the Sally Hanson strips I mentioned in a previous post are much easier to put on. Also, "It's My Pink" is a gorgeous bright pink but it's supposed to be infused with a Betsey Johnson scent, which I was excited about, but all I smell is regular nail polish. wah.

I've been wanting a black leather jacket with a hood for awhile now and have been eyeing one by OBEY for quite some time. So I was ecstatic when my boyfriend told me he ordered it for me! I can't wait for it to come in! I'll be sure to post a picture once it comes in but for now here's how it looks on Karmaloop. If you're tiny and can fit into an XXS Karmaloop is the way to go because its only about 60 bucks on their site! Instead of attempting to squeeze into that, Erich ordered mine from Zumiez. Thanks baby :) dilly!

UPDATE!! ok so my jacket finally came in the mail and I have to say... I LOVE it!! Its seriously the most perfect jacket I could have hoped for. It's surprisingly warm so it's the perfect piece for the weather we've been having lately and I know I'll still get a lot of use out of it for chilly summer nights. I recommend this 100%!!

Aria Montgomery/ Lucy Hale Makeup Tutorial!

Hi everyone!

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last year, you've probably heard about Pretty Little Liars. If you're like me and most of the girls I know, you haven't missed an episode. Half the reason I watch is to see what my favorite characters are going to wear and what they are doing with their hair and makeup.

Aria's quirky style is by far my favorite and the actress who plays her, Lucy Hale, is just as flawless and fashion forward in her own life. I just posted a tutorial on how to get her super gorgeous everyday makeup look.

Hope you enjoy!
