Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! OOTD!

I just posted a multiple "outfit of the day" video! I showed 3 different outfits I wore this past weekend!

The first outfit is perfect for a casual summer dinner. I wore it to my brother's birthday dinner on Saturday night. Even though it gets chilly during summer nights, I still love taking advantage of the season and wearing light colors and wedges. Shirt is free people from macys, white jeggings are from american eagle, wedges are from forever 21 and satchel is deena & ozzy from urban outfitters and btw.. I just got this bag in the mail and LOVE IT! I'm SO in to studs right now!

My second outfit I wore for a day out and about with my boyfriend and my little baby boy Theodore :) we spent a lot of time outside and hit up a few garage sales and ended up cooking out on the grill. My shirt is truly madly deeply from urban outfitters and my shorts are american eagle, crossbody is deena & ozzy from urban, earrings are from h&m (came in a 2-pack) and my sandals are sam edelman for american eagle... i want a pair of actually sam edelmans so bag arggghhh! these will do for now though! also that bright pink on my lips you see is a revlon lip butter (in sweet tart)! i've been LOVING these lately. they go on super smooth and seriously feel like butter!

The weather has been really strange this week so I started out the day with just the american eagle peace crop top, ae shorts and the sam edelman shoes... but it got cold, started haling and the power went out so i jetted to the nearest place with power and i threw on this really comphy kensie sweater from macys. when I recreated the looks for the video I decided to spruce it up a bit and add my new peyton wedges from target. seriously these are an EXACT dupe for a pair of steve madden wedges I was SOO close to buying days before!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw such a similar pair at target for 70$ less! I'll post the links below! my ring is from forever 21 and my belt and bracelet are from american eagle.

Steve Madden-

My mother always stresses to me that what you put in to your body is 10x more important than what's on your body. If you don't already know, juicing is the process of extracting liquid (juice) from fruits and veggies. You might be wondering what the heck this has to do with beauty but believe it or not, the health benefits of juicing improve more than just your insides. Drinking fresh juices on a consistent bases can have great effects on your skin. Plus with all that extra energy you'll have, you can spend more time shopping and beautifying yourself! Just kidding.. kinda.. well anyways below I've listed the ingredients we used for this juice and some pictures! There's a ton of websites that explain the health benefits from juicing, which I'll link below.

We used celery, carrots, tons of kale, oranges and strawberries!

Rainy Day Outfit!

Rainy days can be so blahhh and depressing. Most days sans the sun I tend to wear dark colors but.... my new free people printed lace raincoat arrived from Karmaloop today so I decided to take inspiration from that and wear a colorful and cute outfit today!

(If you clicked the links above you probably noticed the 58% price difference of the raincoats... same coat... half off on Karmaloop... plus an additional 20% off using my rep code "Sara1991" please tell me WHYYY wouldn't you order from Karmaloop?!?!)

Everything I wore today is new except for my rain boots that I purchased at Target last year... I found a VERY similar pair here.

My neon yellow concert corset bra from American Eagle is an amazing way to wear neon in a small dose, especially if you've never experimented with the trend before. The lace detailing on the side looks beautiful peaking out of tank tops like this floral one I'm wearing from Free People. The yellow color is also in the print and the bra makes it stand out even more!

My shorts are from Forever 21 and I LOVEE the studded detailing. Yes, I probably could have made these myself but they were under 20 bucks and knowing me I would have ended up spending three times the amount on the supplies to make them.

You can probably tell I don't have any makeup on today.. thats because I left a face mask on too long and now it looks like I have a sunburn. It also feels like a sunburn... ouch! Let me know if you guys have any remedies for this because its been 2 days already and isn't getting better!!

Hope you guys enjoy my video and try and remember to make the best of everyday, even if it's hard to see the sun!

One Man's Trash...

So the other day my dad dug this (in his opinion) "crazy" shirt out of his closet that he bought years ago. I begged him to let me try it on. It was a little tough to get him to give it away but as soon as he saw it transformed in to a dress, he couldn't say no :) All I did was roll up the sleeves and synch the waist with a simple brown leather belt. I didn't want to take away from the awesome details of the dress. Men's dress shirts make great shirt dresses for the summer and can be less expensive if your "borrowing" (aka stealing) from a boyfriend or your dad.
